Ferruccio Grimaldi's 2010 Barolo opens to a dark, slightly veiled appearance with thick streak of garnet and dark ruby in its muted color. The wine shows simple lines and slightly muddled aromas of dark cherry, tobacco and cola. What the wine lacks in definition, it makes up for in intensity and power.
