The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru is also promising, exhibiting aromas of rich berry fruit, dark chocolate and creamy new oak. It's medium to full-bodied, velvety and supple, with an ample core of sweet fruit, ripe acids and melting tannins. This sample showed slight signs of fatigue, so I suspect that the final cuvee may make my score seem conservative.
